Brick by brick...
Our monastery was built through the generosity of many friends and benefactors during a time when the country was coming out of the Depression. This House of God was not built by great endowments or benifices but brick by brick. Benefactors were encouraged to give ten cents a brick!
Throughout the decades we continue to remember our benefactors before the Face of God with gratitude for making the contemplative life possible here in Summit, New Jersey.
Now as then, we count on your help in fulfilling our dream of renovating and expanding our monastic home for generations to come. We are grateful for any and all gifts!
